The W40 series Nissan Civilian shared some manuals with the 1982 Nissan Cabstar.
For the W40 series Nissan Civilian, Nissan produced a repair manual shared with the Cabstar when this model was introduced in 1982.This manual covered petrol engines Z16, Z20 and Z22, and diesel engines ED33, SD23 and SD25.They then produced supplements that covered changes over the years including new engines and the W41 update in 1991.Unfortunately, many of the supplements are now out of print so a complete set of manuals may not be available depending on the year of your Civilian and the type of engine. We have been told by customers that the 1982 manual does not contain much useful information for later model Civilians. The SD series engine supplement can be used as an engine-only manual if your Civilian has an SD22, SD23, SD25 or SD33 engine. There are similar manuals available for FD33 and FD33T (turbo) diesel engines.Supplement 4 covers the introduction of the TD42 engine so is suitable for work to these engines but not all of the rest of the vehicle. You should consider that there may have been changes made to the Civilian and engines that were covered by supplements that are no longer available. The Computer Outpost
